falling-151850_640Did you know that you can’t be in fear and faith at the same time? They are complete opposites. When you’re walking in faith, fear can’t trip you up but when you’re walking in fear, it’s easy to stumble and fall.

Bottom line; faith is really trust. If you trust someone, then you have faith in them. You can open your heart to them and give them access to the things that are precious to you. You can trust them with your spouse, your children or your money. If you don’t trust a person, then you will build a wall between you and them to protect yourself and others.

It’s not hard to see where this is going. If you are experiencing fear in any area of your life than it may be time to check your trust level in the Lord Jesus. Could there be a wall between you and Him in some area?

Galatians 5:6 says this in the Amplified Bible, “For if we are in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything. But only faith, activated, and energized, and expressed, and working through love…”

If you believe Jesus loves you, it’s easy for you to trust Him. If you believe that He doesn’t or that He is mad at you, then it’s hard for you to trust Him. In any area of your life where you have by revelation or experience have received the love of the Father, faith will naturally occur in your heart. On the other hand, in any area of your life where you have not received the love of God, fear will take hold.

Want to win over the fears in your life; then allow your faith to be activated, energized and expressed by knowing the love of God. The Bible is His declaration and expression of that love to you. Through His word, your fears can be replaced by faith in His love.
