1
00:00:07,953 --> 00:00:11,377
Genesis 26:26-29

2
00:00:11,387 --> 00:00:13,173
then Abimelech came to him

3
00:00:13,173 --> 00:00:15,680
from Garar with his advisor Ahuzzath

4
00:00:15,680 --> 00:00:17,980
and Phicol the commander of his army

5
00:00:17,980 --> 00:00:19,752
Isaac said to them

6
00:00:19,752 --> 00:00:21,118
why have you come to me

7
00:00:21,118 --> 00:00:22,303
since you hate me

8
00:00:22,303 --> 00:00:24,082
and have sent me away from you

9
00:00:24,082 --> 00:00:25,310
they said we see plainly

10
00:00:25,310 --> 00:00:26,713
that the LORD has been with you

11
00:00:26,713 --> 00:00:27,829
so we said

12
00:00:27,829 --> 00:00:29,153
let there now be an oath

13
00:00:29,153 --> 00:00:30,350
between us even between

14
00:00:30,350 --> 00:00:31,215
you and us and

15
00:00:31,215 --> 00:00:32,983
let us make a covenant with you

16
00:00:32,983 --> 00:00:35,147
that you will do us no harm

17
00:00:35,147 --> 00:00:36,601
just as we have not touched you

18
00:00:36,601 --> 00:00:40,490
and have done to you nothing but good

19
00:00:40,490 --> 00:00:42,162
and have sent you away in peace

20
00:00:42,162 --> 00:00:44,672
you are now the blessed of the Lord

21
00:00:44,672 --> 00:00:46,676
and what we see here

22
00:00:46,676 --> 00:00:49,151
Isaac had lied to Abimelech

23
00:00:49,151 --> 00:00:51,146
and that caused Abimelech

24
00:00:51,146 --> 00:00:52,619
to hate Isaac

25
00:00:52,619 --> 00:00:54,684
but here's an incredible thing

26
00:00:54,684 --> 00:00:57,123
Isaac had a covenant with God

27
00:00:57,123 --> 00:00:59,057
and the verses before that

28
00:00:59,057 --> 00:01:01,787
verses 24 and 25 of Genesis 26

29
00:01:01,787 --> 00:01:04,125
God had repeated this covenant

30
00:01:04,125 --> 00:01:05,494
promise to Isaac

31
00:01:05,494 --> 00:01:07,267
Isaac embraced that covenent

32
00:01:07,267 --> 00:01:08,785
and do you know that covenant

33
00:01:08,785 --> 00:01:11,419
causes favor with people

34
00:01:11,419 --> 00:01:13,416
this covenant that Isaac had with God

35
00:01:13,425 --> 00:01:15,295
caused Isaac to prosper

36
00:01:15,295 --> 00:01:17,345
and reap 100 fold

37
00:01:17,345 --> 00:01:19,577
Abimelech saw Isaac's prosperity

38
00:01:19,577 --> 00:01:22,910
and he wanted what Isaac had

39
00:01:22,910 --> 00:01:24,670
and so he said let's make a covenant

40
00:01:24,670 --> 00:01:25,835
with the blessed man

41
00:01:25,835 --> 00:01:27,350
that we might enjoy

42
00:01:27,350 --> 00:01:28,945
that blessing with God ourselves

43
00:01:28,945 --> 00:01:30,620
and that's exactly what happened

44
00:01:30,620 --> 00:01:31,562
they came to Isaac

45
00:01:31,562 --> 00:01:32,952
and here's the point

46
00:01:32,952 --> 00:01:35,151
covenant with God causes favor

47
00:01:35,151 --> 00:01:36,493
even with enemies

48
00:01:36,493 --> 00:01:38,640
there's another proverb that says

49
00:01:38,640 --> 00:01:40,845
when a man's ways please the LORD

50
00:01:40,845 --> 00:01:42,371
it causes even his enemies

51
00:01:42,371 --> 00:01:43,834
to be at peace with you

52
00:01:43,834 --> 00:01:46,116
and God will even cause enemies

53
00:01:46,116 --> 00:01:47,475
to be at peace with you

54
00:01:47,475 --> 00:01:48,446
when you walk

55
00:01:48,446 --> 00:01:50,017
in God's covenant

56
00:01:50,017 --> 00:01:50,989
so when you walk

57
00:01:50,989 --> 00:01:51,789
in God's covenant

58
00:01:51,789 --> 00:01:52,722
that you have by the

59
00:01:52,722 --> 00:01:54,199
blood of Messiah Yeshua

60
00:01:54,199 --> 00:01:55,345
God will give you

61
00:01:55,345 --> 00:01:56,903
favor with enemies

62
00:01:56,903 --> 00:01:58,201
with people all around you

63
00:01:58,201 --> 00:01:59,275
it'll happen in business

64
00:01:59,275 --> 00:02:00,669
it'll happen in relationships

65
00:02:00,669 --> 00:02:02,882
it'll happen in marriage

66
00:02:02,882 --> 00:02:04,214
it'll happen with your children

67
00:02:04,214 --> 00:02:04,959
with your parents

68
00:02:04,959 --> 00:02:06,613
in every area of life

69
00:02:06,613 --> 00:02:08,425
it reminds me of a story

70
00:02:08,425 --> 00:02:10,493
that occurred in the life

71
00:02:10,493 --> 00:02:13,007
of a friend of mine Sam and Linda

72
00:02:13,007 --> 00:02:14,143
a couple that I've gotten to know

73
00:02:14,143 --> 00:02:15,802
quite well in business

74
00:02:15,802 --> 00:02:17,228
and many many years ago

75
00:02:17,228 --> 00:02:18,589
Sam had an experience

76
00:02:18,589 --> 00:02:20,309
in a company that he founded

77
00:02:20,309 --> 00:02:21,792
where he was actually

78
00:02:21,792 --> 00:02:23,557
kicked out of his own company

79
00:02:23,557 --> 00:02:25,215
by the board of directors

80
00:02:25,215 --> 00:02:26,653
of that company

81
00:02:26,653 --> 00:02:28,252
and it was a long story

82
00:02:28,252 --> 00:02:31,071
as to how it came to that

83
00:02:31,071 --> 00:02:34,277
as he driving on a trip

84
00:02:34,277 --> 00:02:35,498
actually from Dallas

85
00:02:35,498 --> 00:02:37,023
to San Antonio Texas

86
00:02:37,023 --> 00:02:38,041
He always used to joke

87
00:02:38,041 --> 00:02:40,046
about the encounter on

88
00:02:40,046 --> 00:02:41,613
the road to San Antonio

89
00:02:41,613 --> 00:02:42,839
like Paul had an encounter

90
00:02:42,839 --> 00:02:44,437
on the road to Damascus

91
00:02:44,437 --> 00:02:45,834
as he and his family were

92
00:02:45,834 --> 00:02:47,451
driving to San Antonio

93
00:02:47,451 --> 00:02:48,948
the LORD spoke to him

94
00:02:48,948 --> 00:02:50,387
and he had an encounter

95
00:02:50,387 --> 00:02:51,406
with the LORD

96
00:02:51,406 --> 00:02:52,470
happened actually through

97
00:02:52,470 --> 00:02:53,730
a phone call as well

98
00:02:53,730 --> 00:02:55,161
that somebody called him

99
00:02:55,161 --> 00:02:56,438
and shared something with him

100
00:02:56,438 --> 00:02:57,729
and it was the word of the LORD

101
00:02:57,729 --> 00:02:59,440
and the word of the LORD was

102
00:02:59,440 --> 00:03:01,515
Go and simply share

103
00:03:01,515 --> 00:03:02,986
with the board of directors

104
00:03:02,986 --> 00:03:04,504
that you don't need to have

105
00:03:04,504 --> 00:03:05,980
any great position

106
00:03:05,980 --> 00:03:06,922
you don't need to have

107
00:03:06,922 --> 00:03:07,929
any great authority

108
00:03:07,929 --> 00:03:09,324
or ownership in a company

109
00:03:09,324 --> 00:03:10,779
all that you request

110
00:03:10,779 --> 00:03:12,255
is to be able to proclaim

111
00:03:12,255 --> 00:03:13,406
the sovereignty

112
00:03:13,406 --> 00:03:14,817
of the LORD Jesus Christ

113
00:03:14,817 --> 00:03:15,922
in this company

114
00:03:15,922 --> 00:03:17,367
and that if they will allow

115
00:03:17,367 --> 00:03:18,268
you to do that

116
00:03:18,268 --> 00:03:19,996
any conflict will be solved

117
00:03:19,996 --> 00:03:21,871
and God will give you favor

118
00:03:21,871 --> 00:03:23,368
the most amazing thing is

119
00:03:23,368 --> 00:03:25,439
Sam went and did exactly that

120
00:03:25,439 --> 00:03:26,625
just appealed to the

121
00:03:26,625 --> 00:03:27,567
board of directors

122
00:03:27,567 --> 00:03:29,335
and said I don't need to have

123
00:03:29,335 --> 00:03:30,488
a great position

124
00:03:30,488 --> 00:03:32,540
or be the president or the C.E.O.

125
00:03:32,540 --> 00:03:33,650
of this company

126
00:03:33,650 --> 00:03:35,246
all I'm requesting is that

127
00:03:35,246 --> 00:03:37,669
you just allow me to proclaim

128
00:03:37,669 --> 00:03:39,692
that Jesus Christ is the LORD

129
00:03:39,692 --> 00:03:41,648
and proclaim His sovereignty

130
00:03:41,648 --> 00:03:43,076
in this company

131
00:03:43,076 --> 00:03:45,510
and that's my request

132
00:03:45,510 --> 00:03:47,489
the covenant that my friend

133
00:03:47,489 --> 00:03:50,045
Sam had with God created favor

134
00:03:50,045 --> 00:03:51,543
with the board of directors

135
00:03:51,543 --> 00:03:53,184
and something nobody expected

136
00:03:53,184 --> 00:03:54,615
nobody expected that they

137
00:03:54,615 --> 00:03:56,063
would embrace Sam

138
00:03:56,063 --> 00:03:57,252
but you know they did

139
00:03:57,252 --> 00:03:58,358
they brought him back

140
00:03:58,358 --> 00:03:59,135
into the company

141
00:03:59,135 --> 00:04:00,071
gave him a position

142
00:04:00,071 --> 00:04:01,810
on the board of directors again

143
00:04:01,810 --> 00:04:04,184
and allowed him to declare

144
00:04:04,184 --> 00:04:05,941
the name of the LORD in that company

145
00:04:05,941 --> 00:04:08,033
it was an amazing amazing story

146
00:04:08,033 --> 00:04:09,874
covenant will give you favor

147
00:04:09,874 --> 00:04:10,976
in business

148
00:04:10,976 --> 00:04:12,119
covenant will give you favor

149
00:04:12,119 --> 00:04:13,454
with boards of directors

150
00:04:13,454 --> 00:04:14,866
covenant will give you favor

151
00:04:14,866 --> 00:04:16,257
with Kings and presidents

152
00:04:16,257 --> 00:04:17,692
covenant will give you favor

153
00:04:17,692 --> 00:04:18,722
with your boss

154
00:04:18,722 --> 00:04:20,105
at work today

155
00:04:20,105 --> 00:04:21,770
with your vendors

156
00:04:21,770 --> 00:04:23,331
with your suppliers

157
00:04:23,331 --> 00:04:25,341
with people that you

158
00:04:25,341 --> 00:04:26,979
deal with in business today

159
00:04:26,979 --> 00:04:28,594
if you'll recognize the covenant

160
00:04:28,594 --> 00:04:30,431
that you have by the blood

161
00:04:30,431 --> 00:04:31,790
of Yeshua Ha Mashiach

162
00:04:31,790 --> 00:04:33,673
that covenant creates favor

163
00:04:33,673 --> 00:04:35,487
just like Isaac had favor

164
00:04:35,487 --> 00:04:36,913
with someone he had lied to

165
00:04:36,913 --> 00:04:38,893
someone who had kicked him out

166
00:04:38,893 --> 00:04:40,539
wanted him to leave

167
00:04:40,539 --> 00:04:42,232
and because the prosperity

168
00:04:42,232 --> 00:04:43,881
of God came so strongly

169
00:04:43,881 --> 00:04:44,869
on Isaac's life

170
00:04:44,869 --> 00:04:46,026
because of covenant

171
00:04:46,026 --> 00:04:46,998
his own enemies came

172
00:04:46,998 --> 00:04:48,280
and wanted to make a covenant

173
00:04:48,280 --> 00:04:49,517
of peace with him

174
00:04:49,517 --> 00:04:51,849
I believe that God wants to do

175
00:04:51,849 --> 00:04:53,366
the same for you today

176
00:04:53,366 --> 00:04:54,761
so let's just pray

177
00:04:54,761 --> 00:04:56,404
Father I pray today

178
00:04:56,404 --> 00:04:57,490
for my brother

179
00:04:57,490 --> 00:04:58,830
for my sister

180
00:04:58,830 --> 00:04:59,860
watching this

181
00:04:59,860 --> 00:05:01,865
little devotional today

182
00:05:01,865 --> 00:05:03,514
for great favor

183
00:05:03,514 --> 00:05:04,610
LORD I release

184
00:05:04,610 --> 00:05:06,136
an anointing of favor

185
00:05:06,136 --> 00:05:07,452
over the life of each person

186
00:05:07,452 --> 00:05:08,935
I just release an anointing of favor

187
00:05:08,935 --> 00:05:10,333
over your life today

188
00:05:10,333 --> 00:05:11,649
that you would have favor

189
00:05:11,649 --> 00:05:12,473
with everybody you come

190
00:05:12,473 --> 00:05:13,522
in contact with

191
00:05:13,522 --> 00:05:14,504
that favor would mean

192
00:05:14,504 --> 00:05:15,941
people would receive you

193
00:05:15,941 --> 00:05:18,895
people would grant you opportunities

194
00:05:18,895 --> 00:05:20,494
people would want you around

195
00:05:20,494 --> 00:05:22,508
people would wait for you

196
00:05:22,508 --> 00:05:24,430
and that the promises

197
00:05:24,430 --> 00:05:25,655
God has made to you

198
00:05:25,655 --> 00:05:27,124
He will bring to pass

199
00:05:27,124 --> 00:05:29,115
in your life this day

200
00:05:29,115 --> 00:05:31,674
so Father I pray for great favor

201
00:05:31,674 --> 00:05:32,752
because of the covenant

202
00:05:32,752 --> 00:05:33,846
we have with you

203
00:05:33,846 --> 00:05:35,853
in the life of each person today

204
00:05:35,853 --> 00:05:37,666
in the mighty name of Yeshua

205
00:05:37,666 --> 00:05:38,632
I pray

206
00:05:38,632 --> 00:05:40,489
Amen
