00:07.830 --> 00:11.265
Habakkuk 2:3

00:11.265 --> 00:12.404
for the vision is yet

00:12.404 --> 00:13.809
for the appointed time

00:13.809 --> 00:15.648
it hastens toward the goal

00:15.648 --> 00:17.228
and it will not fail

00:17.228 --> 00:18.944
though it tarries wait for it

00:18.944 --> 00:20.388
for it will certainly come

00:20.388 --> 00:22.423
and it will not delay

00:22.423 --> 00:23.162
now that seems

00:23.162 --> 00:25.442
contradictory doesn't it

00:25.442 --> 00:27.943
what does it mean

00:27.943 --> 00:29.613
though it tarries wait for it

00:29.613 --> 00:31.854
that means be patient it's going to come

00:31.854 --> 00:33.258
it's going to take a long time

00:33.258 --> 00:35.728
it will come and it will not delay

00:35.728 --> 00:37.196
well which is he saying

00:37.196 --> 00:38.441
it's going to delay

00:38.441 --> 00:40.066
or it's not going to delay

00:40.066 --> 00:41.845
actually it's both

00:41.845 --> 00:43.137
and here's what we found

00:43.137 --> 00:44.295
I found this so many times

00:44.295 --> 00:45.308
in my own life

00:45.308 --> 00:46.987
God gives you a vision

00:46.987 --> 00:48.864
and it takes much longer

00:48.864 --> 00:49.982
than you thought it would

00:49.982 --> 00:50.978
for it to be fulfilled

00:50.978 --> 00:52.092
but when it comes

00:52.092 --> 00:53.935
it comes suddenly

00:53.935 --> 00:55.386
very quickly

00:55.386 --> 00:56.111
you have examples

00:56.111 --> 00:57.637
of David for example

00:57.637 --> 00:58.802
who was called to be king

00:58.802 --> 01:00.153
but it was 13 years

01:00.153 --> 01:02.597
from the time that Samuel anointed him

01:02.597 --> 01:04.310
until the time that he was king

01:04.310 --> 01:05.335
and when it happened

01:05.335 --> 01:07.135
it came very quickly

01:07.135 --> 01:08.414
very suddenly

01:08.414 --> 01:09.411
you have Joseph

01:09.411 --> 01:10.519
who was in prison

01:10.519 --> 01:11.583
for many many years

01:11.583 --> 01:12.892
told that he would be a leader

01:12.892 --> 01:14.372
and suddenly

01:14.372 --> 01:15.732
he was delivered from prison

01:15.732 --> 01:17.888
and made prime minister of the nation

01:17.888 --> 01:19.839
so these things happen quickly

01:19.839 --> 01:20.986
they happen suddenly

01:20.986 --> 01:22.416
you really can't plan for them

01:22.416 --> 01:24.797
and what Habakkuk is saying here

01:24.797 --> 01:26.445
is the vision is yet

01:26.445 --> 01:27.811
for an appointed time

01:27.811 --> 01:28.975
what does that mean?

01:28.975 --> 01:30.710
that means God has a timing

01:30.710 --> 01:32.291
and a vision that he's given you

01:32.291 --> 01:33.904
and I believe God

01:33.904 --> 01:35.643
has given you a vision

01:35.643 --> 01:36.547
there are things that

01:36.547 --> 01:38.478
he has said to you

01:38.478 --> 01:39.684
which are yet for

01:39.684 --> 01:40.919
an appointed time in the future

01:40.919 --> 01:43.403
that means they haven't happened yet

01:43.403 --> 01:44.731
but what do you do?

01:44.731 --> 01:45.836
prepare

01:45.836 --> 01:46.899
prepare yourself

01:46.899 --> 01:47.788
study

01:47.788 --> 01:48.780
do the training

01:48.780 --> 01:50.116
do what you need to do

01:50.116 --> 01:51.551
to prepare for what God

01:51.551 --> 01:52.995
has called you to do

01:52.995 --> 01:54.687
because it's going to take awhile

01:54.687 --> 01:56.608
but at the appointed time it will come

01:56.608 --> 01:57.590
every one of us

01:57.590 --> 01:59.790
are like keys on a piano

01:59.790 --> 02:03.580
and God is the piano player

02:03.580 --> 02:04.968
He's the one that's

02:04.968 --> 02:06.158
hitting the keys

02:06.158 --> 02:07.722
in a piece that He's composed

02:07.722 --> 02:08.533
can you imagine

02:08.533 --> 02:09.544
what it would be like

02:09.544 --> 02:10.898
if you're the composer

02:10.898 --> 02:12.015
you're the pianist

02:12.015 --> 02:13.614
and yet you've got all the keys

02:13.614 --> 02:14.694
that are animated standing up

02:14.694 --> 02:16.101
crying out to you all the time

02:16.101 --> 02:17.280
play me, play me

02:17.280 --> 02:18.060
it's my turn

02:18.060 --> 02:19.055
you played him twice

02:19.055 --> 02:20.376
you didn't play me once yet

02:20.376 --> 02:21.439
it's my turn

02:21.439 --> 02:22.394
can you imagine how

02:22.394 --> 02:23.936
that would drive the pianist

02:23.936 --> 02:25.525
who's trying to play the piece

02:25.525 --> 02:26.987
absolutely nuts

02:26.987 --> 02:28.655
I think we do that with God

02:28.655 --> 02:29.854
well God he started after me

02:29.854 --> 02:31.722
and you put him out ahead of me

02:31.722 --> 02:32.766
God why are you doing

02:32.766 --> 02:35.123
No, God is creating

02:35.123 --> 02:36.520
His masterpiece

02:36.520 --> 02:37.828
and at just the right time

02:37.828 --> 02:39.674
He will play your key

02:39.674 --> 02:42.942
and you'll be a part of the orchestra

02:42.942 --> 02:44.058
not the orchestra

02:44.058 --> 02:45.787
but a part of the composition

02:45.787 --> 02:47.267
the piece that God has created

02:47.267 --> 02:49.178
and so be patient

02:49.178 --> 02:50.942
wait for the vision to come

02:50.942 --> 02:53.005
God had called me to be a pastor

02:53.005 --> 02:54.152
I knew I was to pastor

02:54.152 --> 02:54.885
for several years

02:54.885 --> 02:56.102
before it happened

02:56.102 --> 02:58.173
and then when I was released

02:58.173 --> 02:59.673
to be a pastor do you know that

02:59.673 --> 03:01.412
it all happened in 2 weeks

03:01.412 --> 03:02.874
in 2 weeks time

03:02.874 --> 03:04.541
my pastor called me

03:04.541 --> 03:05.684
and shared with me that

03:05.684 --> 03:07.451
there was a particular church

03:07.451 --> 03:09.124
that he was associated with

03:09.124 --> 03:10.074
in need of a pastor

03:10.074 --> 03:11.748
and he wanted me to go

03:11.748 --> 03:12.896
and Jan and me

03:12.896 --> 03:14.831
to be the pastor of that church

03:14.831 --> 03:16.158
the amazing thing was

03:16.158 --> 03:18.237
we had 2 weeks to prepare for that

03:18.237 --> 03:19.926
so it was 2 weeks

03:19.926 --> 03:21.319
from the time we knew about it

03:21.319 --> 03:22.519
until the time we were released

03:22.519 --> 03:24.846
but yet it was years coming

03:24.846 --> 03:27.294
and so I had to wait and be patient

03:27.294 --> 03:28.808
and so that is exactly what

03:28.808 --> 03:30.957
Habakkuk 2:3 means

03:30.957 --> 03:32.418
there is a vision

03:32.418 --> 03:33.745
God has given you a vision

03:33.745 --> 03:35.529
it is for an appointed time

03:35.529 --> 03:36.459
it will tarry

03:36.459 --> 03:37.765
it will wait for awhile

03:37.765 --> 03:39.866
but you prepare wait for it

03:39.866 --> 03:41.591
it will certainly come

03:41.591 --> 03:42.645
that's the word of the Lord

03:42.645 --> 03:43.762
it will certainly come

03:43.762 --> 03:44.699
that's the word of the LORD

03:44.699 --> 03:45.362
to you today

03:45.362 --> 03:47.346
it will certainly come

03:47.346 --> 03:48.721
what God has said to you

03:48.721 --> 03:50.252
will certainly come

03:50.252 --> 03:51.567
and it will not delay

03:51.567 --> 03:54.492
meaning at the appropriate time

03:54.492 --> 03:55.754
it will be released

03:55.754 --> 03:56.851
and it will happen

03:56.851 --> 03:58.121
very very quickly

03:58.121 --> 04:00.634
so Father I pray today

04:00.634 --> 04:02.639
for the vision for each person

04:02.639 --> 04:04.174
watching today

04:04.174 --> 04:05.175
I pray for you

04:05.175 --> 04:06.909
that you would wait for the vision

04:06.909 --> 04:08.843
prepare yourself for the vision

04:08.843 --> 04:10.083
be in that place

04:10.083 --> 04:11.641
ready to walk in the vision

04:11.641 --> 04:13.442
that when the time is right

04:13.442 --> 04:14.797
and it's released

04:14.797 --> 04:15.996
that you're in the right place

04:15.996 --> 04:17.606
a the right time with the right skills

04:17.606 --> 04:18.960
with the right attitude

04:18.960 --> 04:19.855
ready to fulfill

04:19.855 --> 04:20.935
what God has called you to

04:20.935 --> 04:21.847
I pray that

04:21.847 --> 04:22.832
for you today

04:22.832 --> 04:24.792
in the mighty name of Yeshua

04:24.792 --> 04:26.660
Amen
