Is effective prayer about AUTHORITY or PERSISTENCE?
In Luke 11:5-13 Yeshua teaches us how we can effectively pray to release God's provision and purposes here on earth.
Most people have been taught that Luke 11:5-13 is all about persistence in prayer.
Nothing could be further from the truth! Quite the opposite.
In this passage, Yeshua is teaching his disciples how to walk in covenant authority to partner with God to release here on earth that which is needful and is already available and waiting in Heaven.
This passage cannot be understood unless you first understand the middle eastern concept of Threshold Covenant hospitality.
Without that understanding, this passage is traditionally interpreted to mean exactly the opposite of Yeshua's actual intention and true meaning.
