Prayer Call Replay “Prayer of an Ambassador vs. a Citizen” – January 28th, 2023

What is the difference between how a Kingdom Ambassador prays and how a Kingdom Citizen prays?
This week we will look at the “persistent neighbor” Yeshua talks about in Luke 11:5-13.

This teaching of Yeshua’s on prayer actually has nothing to do with persistence as is usually taught.

Yeshua is here teaching about how to relate to the King from an Ambassador perspective rather than from a private citizen perspective.

However, there is a cultural key that most people have missed in this teaching that causes most to completely miss the point of Yeshua’s teaching.

Without understanding the actual point Yeshua is making, most pastors have taught this passage from a citizen rather than an ambassador perspective.

As a result of misunderstanding the point, translators misused punctuation in English that completely changes the meaning of the passage.

Punctuation matters! For example Romans 1:13, the comma matters.

Now I would not have you ignorant brethren,

vs. Now I would not have you ignorant, (comma) brethren,

This week we will look at Yeshua’s teaching on how an ambassador relates to the King in prayer as opposed to how a private citizen relates in prayer.
